Shelly Bonitz
2020 Miss Rodeo Okeechobee

My name is Shelley Bonitz. I am the daughter of Richard Bonitz. I graduated from University High School in 2017. In 2020 I have graduated from Florida Technical College a certification in medical assisting and plan on becoming a Doctor.
I enjoy many hobbies, but mainly enjoy riding my horse in open shows including Raining, Western Pleasure, Trail and several others. My other hobbies include swimming and bowling.
I'm looking forward to meeting new lifelong friends and being able to inspire young boys and girls to follow their dreams, as well as keeping the sport of Rodeo going for many more years.

Never forget to follow your dreams!

Madisyn Kruse
2020 Miss Teen Rodeo Okeechobee
My name is Madisyn Kruse. I am 17 years old and your Miss Teen Rodeo Okeechobee 2020. Since I was a little girl I have always dreamed of becoming a princess in the rodeo scene. Once when I was 12 I met The Miss Silver Spurs Rodeo Queen and that inspired me to strive to become a part of the Rodeo Court.
I currently live on a farm with chickens, horses, dogs, cats, cows, rabbits and so much more. I enjoy the ranch life very much. Growing up I have had the best of both worlds. I live out west of town in the country yet only 15 minutes from the ocean.
I am a Junior in High School and Home schooled by my mother who is a retired teacher. Being home I get to have a more hands on education with experience. My dream when I graduate is to become a Marine Biologist here in Florida. I hope to one day discover something new in our deep blue sea.
The most important thing to me is having the support from my family and rodeo family. Having this has helped me open up and become a more out going person. Last but not least I want to thank my Lord above for always watching over me in my decisions.
Thank you for letting me become your Miss Teen Rodeo Okeechobee 2020 and hope to make Okeechobee proud.
Thank you,

During her reign as Miss Okeechobee Princess 2020, she can’t wait to represent Okeechobee Cattleman’s Association, travel to local rodeos, visit schools, educate about the rodeo sport and history, as well as, have fun and make new friends.

Tabatha Carpenter
2020 Miss Rodeo Okeechobee Sweetheart

My name is Tabatha Carpenter. I am 8 years old and I'm the daughter of Nick and Tamara Carpenter. My family and I live in St. Cloud, FL. I am so excited to be your 2020 Miss Rodeo Okeechobee Sweetheart. Ever since I was a little girl running around my house on a stick horse I've dreamed of being a rodeo queen. I get excited every time I go to a local rodeo and meet all the queens. My favorite part is getting their autographs and taking pictures with them. I'm so excited to be able to do this now when I attend local rodeos. I can't wait to inspire other little cowgirls to follow their dreams and never give up.
I am in the second grade and I am a honor roll student. My favorite part of school is science. I love learning about animals. When I grow up I want to work with animals at a zoo. I think it is important to help animals that are hurt or lost.
I am so thankful for my family and friends who supports me. I would like to also thank my Uncle Sonny and Papa and their business, S. Hancock Construction for helping me buy things I need. God has blessed me with a great tribe and I am very thankful for his blessings in my life.
I can't wait to meet you at one of the many rodeos I will attend this year. Make sure to stop and say hi!
